On  the occasion of  the World AIDS Campaign  (WAC) 2007  in Egypt,  the United Nations System  in Egypt,  the National AIDS Programme  and  their  partners  are  proud  to  announce  the  first "WAC Awards" for creative art focusing on the theme: 
 
"Stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV"

The  competition  is  open  to  all  Egyptians  of  any  level  of  educational  qualification  and  is structured in three categories:
 
1.  Journalism 
2.  Creative writing
3.  Art Works
 
For each category,  three participants will be  shortlisted by a panel of  judges and  invited  to  the World AIDS Campaign Closing Event, where  the winners will be announced during an award ceremony.

Every entry must be sent along with a passport photo of yourself attached to a sheet of A4 paper with your full name, date of birth, address, telephone number (mobile where possible) and e-mail address.
